Woodley Fun Day 2010: another successful day in the Sun!

Bigger and more ambitious than before, this year's event was on Saturday 26th June on Woodley Green, Romsey. The fun began around 2pm and went on until the evening. The free barbecue brought in the crowds while Vicar of Romsey Tim Sledge impressed us all with the range of sound effects from his new fridge.

Mental Health Carers Support Group

Are you a relative, carer or supporter of someone with a mental health problem?
Would you like an opportunity to share and learn together in a safe, confidential setting?
Our group meets from 7.30 to 9.00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month at 2 Linden Road, Romsey
 Nick Virgo, an independent clinical psychologist, and Jane Virgo, who worked until recently as a Health Visitor, lead the group.
Meetings start with coffee and a chat, leading on to discussion about any issues people bring up. If members of the group wish we can arrange presentations on aspects of mental health and caring.

The guest speaker was Sarah Hargreaves  of the Hilfield Project, speaking on the work of the Hilfield Projct, also saying a few things about “Ecology & Christianity” along the way.
