Woodley Funday

In 2008 and 2009, the HOPE in Romsey Group organised a day of fun activities on Woodley Green. A strong component of the activities was the large number of inflatable attractiions, and there were some very low-tech games like tossing the caber and "splat the rat". We had a visiting entertainer and an ambulatory magician. There was a free barbecue.

In 2009 the event was expanded to include live music from two local bands.

In 2010, we have even bigger plans, and this event looks set to gather momentum each year.

The free barbecue brought in the crowds while Vicar of Romsey Tim Sledge impressed us all with the range of sound effects from his new fridge.
